Biography: Creating a timeline and organizing ideas

My pupils attempted to write a short biography of a famous person of their choice and I created two worksheets to help them organize their ideas and information. First, I asked them to read a sample biography and then we talked about it in relation to structure, language used,etc. Then I asked them to choose a person to write about and find information about him/her. I gave them a "timeline" worksheet and an "organize your ideas" worksheet to help them organize information before they start writing.
